The first HCI I will be looking at is the Xbox one. This console can vary in price due to some being sold without Kinect and some with, the Xbox One I bought came with Kinect and two games Assassins creed Black Flag and Assassins creed Unity which would have cost about £400 but I traded in my Xbox 360 with about 30+ game and so it only cost about £250! But considering that the Xbox one is not a powerful as pc's which you can get for cheaper, but I still think that this is a really good. The new Kinect system which is now more high tech with the word recognition and the new way to record gaming clips so you can share with your friends as well as people round the world. It was released 22 November 2013 but for some countries it was released in September 2013. The Xbox one currently doesn't have many games on it because its only been around for a couple of years so it probably has a few hundred games available for it. Xbox One runs at 720p or 900p at 30 or 60fps (Frames Per Second). This is not as good as the PlayStation which can achieve a higher pixel rate of 1080p but again this is easily achievable on PC which allows people to watch YouTube videos in 1080p long before it came to the consoles. The memory on the Xbox one is 500GB but you can by Terabyte memory add-ons so it can take more memory. The Xbox One has a 8-core x86 processor which is very similar to the PlayStation, but recently the Xbox has now been given more due to games being able to use some back up space so games now run slightly better than some PlayStation versions. The memory size is 8GB of RAM which is not too bad for consoles.

There are two more Xbox Versions before this and they were the Xbox 360 and the Xbox Original which was released in 2001 and then the 360 was released in 2005 but they released updated versions up till about 2013 and then they stopped for the Xbox One which was released a year later.
The PlayStation has been around a few years longer and that could be why it has slightly better graphics but there is really not a massive difference between them. The PlayStation was once the most dominant console in the world until Xbox released their conbs9ole in 2001 which was the first American console since jaguar gaming went into administration. PlayStation 4 have several new features including a touchscreen controller and also have replaced their start and options button with a new options button replacing start and a new share button used for recording gameplay. PS4 games that achieve a 1080p resolution at 30 or 60 frames per second which is better than Xbox, PlayStation also has dual 4 core modules which is not as many as the Xbox. The console includes a 500 GB hard drive which is the same as the Xbox One, The PS4 contains a total of 8 GB of RAM which is the same as the Xbox One. Two x86-64 quad-core modules for a total of eight cores which is the same maximum as Xbox One so there is really not a big difference between the consoles. There are several game for this but the same is like the Xbox which does not have many games due to the console being recently released. In my opinion the PlayStation is good but for me the Xbox one is just that little better! I think the controller for the Xbox is a lot more hand pleasing and does not cause hand cramp like PlayStation used to cause when I played it.

I will now look at still a PlayStation Product but this time a smaller and more portable device which is easy for playing while on the move. The PSP (PlayStation Portable) was released in 2004/2005 and has been on sale for 10 years until it was discontinued at the start of 2014. The PSP revolutionized portable playing with you being able to play on the go which a had only been done previously Nintendo with the Gameboy and Gameboy advance! The PSP was truly a step in the right direction for portable gaming, with it being allowed to connect to the internet as well as being able to play with friends who were sat next to you or from their house to your house and there'd be a reasonable connection too. PSP was the first of it's kind by Sony but with the production being ended it made way for its new counterpart the PS vita which is capable of getting better graphics, internet connection as well as the game being more defined to be a top choice and to make it look more grown up with better features and better looks. The 2007 version had 64 MB total, 32MB used for system, another 32mb used for UMD cache, available memory not changed for compatibility with 100x models. Main Memory: 32 MB 333 MHz DDR SDRAM.

There are also many previous consoles for PlayStation such as the PS1, PS2 and PS3 which are it's predecessors and have made PlayStation into what it ids today! The PlayStation one which was released in December 1994 but was then re-released in 1997 with analogue sticks which was a good move in my opinion. The PlayStation 2 was released in 2000 and was released a year before the first Xbox was released. The PlayStation is the most successful console in the world and is the fastest console to reach a 100 million units sold with it only taking 5 years and 9 months which was much quicker than it predecessor which took 9 years to achieve this. The PlayStation 3 has sold over 80 million consoles worldwide as of November 2013. The PlayStation was the first PlayStation I did not get as I had fallen in love with the Xbox consoles after the first I went to the 360 and it was In my opinion the better console.

PC is the leading Gaming interface with it's more powerful graphics and dominant memory space and RAM the pc is head and shoulders above the it's competition! The average laptop today is slightly more powerful than the Xbox one and PlayStation 4 but I'll admit the graphics on your common laptop don't seem as good as the consoles, so yes the PC is more powerful but at times the consoles seem to capture the feeling and look slightly better at times and this is what I think draws so many people in and is what makes the consoles popular. PCs do have most games that the consoles do except for exclusives but then again PC have their own exclusives! PC's have much superior memory space compared to consoles, one reason this is because PC's have been around for longer so they have more information to make the PC better and also they can make the PC bigger so it can contain more and better equipment so the computer will have better graphics, RAM and much more. PC's have been around for longer and have been received well by all people for it's constant development to become better each time a new laptop or PC is released. There are several PC companies which make top of the range PCs as well as companies that make PCs and laptops which are not top of the range but still very good.
Now I'm going to look at mobile and tablet devices. These devices have only really come to a good gaming quality in the past few years and are still now only getting better. They are now becoming more and more compatible with other devices and this means that people are playing on mobiles more and so they need to become better to meet demand. Mobile devices are now becoming more used with games such as flappy birds and candy crush. Tablets are also used heavily for gaming with angry birds apps and other big tablet games.
